Nine Deaths: Cat Survivors · com.shashko.ninedeaths · Last updated 14 September 2026

This policy explains what Nine Deaths (“the game”, “we”, “us”) collects, why, and what you can turn off. The game has no accounts and no sign-in: we never learn your name, your email, or who you are. We do not sell your data.

Who this applies to

Nine Deaths is intended for players aged 13 and older. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

What we collect, and when

DataWhenWhere it goes
Game progress — runs, unlocks, currencies, settings As you play Stored on your device only
A random ID generated by the game, plus session ID, app version and platform name (for example “Android”) Every launch PostHog (analytics), United States
Gameplay events — a run starting or ending, level reached, a revive taken, a purchase completing, a crash As they happen PostHog (analytics), United States
Advertising and device identifiers, approximate location derived from your IP address, and ad interactions Only when a rewarded ad is requested or loaded Google (AdMob / Google Mobile Ads SDK)
Purchase history When you buy something Google Play. We never see or store your payment details.

About the random ID

The ID the game sends to analytics is generated on your device from a timestamp and random numbers the first time you play. It is not your device ID, not your advertising ID, and not linked to any account. Uninstalling the game deletes it, and a reinstall produces a new one that cannot be connected to the old one.

Ads

Nine Deaths shows rewarded ads only: a short video you choose to watch in exchange for reviving after a death. Nothing is forced, and no ad ever interrupts play. Ads are served by Google AdMob, which collects the data listed above under Google’s own privacy terms.

If you buy Support the Dev, the ad SDK is never started at all — not loaded, not initialised, and no data reaches Google’s ad systems from the game.

What we never collect

Why we collect it

Your choices

Data deletion requests

Uninstalling the game removes all data held on your device. To have analytics events already sent from your device deleted, email daniel.shashko@gmail.com from any address and say so. Because the game has no accounts, we cannot look you up by name — include the random ID if you still have the game installed, or describe roughly when you played and we will delete on a best-effort basis.

Retention and security

Analytics events are kept for as long as they are useful for improving the game, and are sent over HTTPS. Purchase records are held by Google Play under their retention rules. Game progress lives on your device and we cannot read it.

Third parties

Changes

If the game starts collecting something new, this page changes before the update ships, and the date at the top changes with it.
